MEDIOLAST S.P.A. joined INFA Group
We are pleased to announce that, on 25th September 2007 MEDIOLAST S.P.A. joined INFA Group.

Since the entry of Investitori Associati as the main shareholder of the Group, this move represents the first step and the evidence of INFA?s new strategy; to offer the international pharmaceutical market an excellent cluster of Italian API players.

In addition, both INFA Group and Mediolast are companies with a long and successful tradition of serving the worldwide pharmaceutical market. They both stand for high quality and customer orientation, with more than 40 years experience and competence in the API field. By aggregating Mediolast into a forward-looking group such as INFA, the whole Group has the ability to develop further in a growth-driven environment that will provide enhanced solutions to its clients.

With Mediolast, INFA Group relies on an overall staff of 160 people, two production units - Labochim and Sifavitor - an overall product range of more than 90 leading molecules and a forecasted 2007 turnover of 90 million Euro. INFA includes a worldwide marketing network with offices in 6 different countries and a solid R&D group, with the ability to manage a variety of projects focusing on blockbuster as well as niche products. Both production units have an excellent track record on quality, regulatory and cGMP compliance.

Daniele Cardoso, CEO of the INFA Group, Livio Nani, Managing Director of Mediolast, and their management teams are eager to start this mutual venture. The strong financial support, like the one Investitori Associati is providing, allows family owned companies to implement ambitious business plans and strengthen the companies? position in the worldwide market.
